Summer Filmmaking Camps in CT, NY, NM

Connecticut, New York City and New York State,

Santa Fe, New Mexico

Summer 2013

Dear Patrick,

I am very excited to let you know how things went with my college acceptances and where I'll be going.

I've decided on USC, the University of Southern California, and their School of Cinematic Arts!  I know that your Filmmakers Ink instruction is what helped confirm for me that I wanted to work in Film and also helped me to identify the career I wanted to pursue.  I am positive your instruction went a long way in preparing me well enough for USC's standards, as well as for the other universities I applied to.  Therefore, I also appreciate your willingness to do the recommendation letter for me because I am sure your own credentials and what you saw in me as a teacher was helpful to them.

I hope your film is coming along well.

Sincerely,

Greta  Graduate Filmmakers Ink Intensive 1, 2 and 3

Patrick,  My son has never had such a great camp experience!  Every morning he was eager to learn more, delighted by everything he had already learned.  Quite simply he both adored it and learnt a great deal.  So a big thank you...  We will put the word out among our friends as I was really impressed by everything about your camp.

I hope you have a great summer.  Many thanks for giving us a great start to ours, keep in touch, Clare

BREAKING NEWS!!

Patrick McCullough, founder of Filmmakers Ink, has recently directed the feature film, Slider.  The film has been edited and is currently completing color correction and a sound mix in Post-Production.  What makes this especially wonderful is that the screenwriter and one of the Producers on the film is Brett Marshall, a two-time Filmmakers Ink student and current staff member.  Brett is graduating from Emerson College this year and is destined for great things!

Filmmakers Ink offers a University film school experience in a summer camp setting.  Our young filmmakers have won multiple awards for filmmaking at the State level, and many have continued on to the best film schools in the country, including USC, Emerson and NYU.   This summer we are offering classes in Filmmaking, Acting, Screenwriting, Editing and Special FX for 8 - 17 year olds.  The Filmmakers Ink programs offer courses that train young filmmakers at four different skill levels and are designed to grow with their expanding knowledge of filmmaking.  Guided by our staff of film professionals, our young filmmakers learn by doing as they develop the key creative and technical skills required for exceptional filmmaking as they become members of the filmmaking communities of Connecticut, New York and New Mexico.

Join other filmmaking youth at Filmmakers Ink summer day camps in the Connecticut towns:

Westport, Darien, Greenwich, Fairfield, New Haven, Woodbridge, Glastonbury, Farmington, Litchfield, Newtown and surrounding areas.

Filmmakers Ink provides intensive creative instruction in a fun and relaxed atmosphere, giving each young filmmaker a strong foundation in collaboration, imagination, creativity and storytelling.

The actors will perform in the films the filmmakers direct, based on the scripts the filmmaker/screenwriter creates.

We suggest that, if possible, over time, students take classes in all our different  disciplines. We want them to experience all aspects of Filmmaking.

Whether writing, directing or acting in the role you were born to play, you will never forget this experience.
